A dough sheeter is an essential machine for bakeries, restaurants, and food processing businesses, helping to roll out dough efficiently and consistently. The price of a dough sheeter generally ranges from $300 to $1,200, with custom models exceeding $2,000 depending on specific features and customization needs. In this blog, we’ll explore the key factors affecting dough sheeter prices and what to consider when making a purchase.
Dough sheeters are typically categorized based on their rolling width, with the most common options being:
35 cm width models (e.g., YP350, YMZD350)
50 cm width models (e.g., YMZD500, YP500)
The wider the dough sheeter, the higher the price. Machines with 35 cm width are usually priced around $300 to $900, while 50 cm models typically range from $700 to $1,200.

Most standard dough sheeters allow users to adjust dough thickness between 1mm and 20mm. However, if you require ultra-thin dough (less than 1mm), customization is necessary. Custom modifications generally add an extra $500 to $1,000 to the total cost, depending on the complexity of the adjustment.
Fully automatic dough sheeters offer greater efficiency and labor savings compared to manual or semi-automatic models. They typically include conveyor belts and automated controls, reducing the need for manual handling. Due to their higher efficiency, automatic dough sheeters are generally $500 more expensive than standard models.
The rollers play a crucial role in dough sheeting quality and durability. The two main types are:
Cast Iron Rollers – Lower cost but prone to rust if not properly maintained.
304 Stainless Steel Rollers – More expensive (around 50% higher cost) but corrosion-resistant, hygienic, and more durable.

Dough sheeters can be made from different materials, including:
Iron Body – Least expensive but prone to rust over time.
201 Stainless Steel – A mid-range option, offering better corrosion resistance than iron but lower than 304 stainless steel.
304 Stainless Steel – The best option, fully food-grade, rust-resistant, and easy to clean, but more expensive.
The thickness of the stainless steel casing varies from 0.3mm to 0.8mm. Thicker stainless steel improves durability and longevity but increases manufacturing costs.
Dough sheeters generally come with copper-core motors or aluminum-core motors:
Copper-Core Motors – More durable, efficient, and long-lasting, but cost more.
Aluminum-Core Motors – Cheaper but less efficient and more prone to overheating.
JRC Machinery manufactures dough sheeters with high-power copper-core motors and 304 stainless steel rollers. All components are produced in our own machining workshop, ensuring precision and durability.
